Thirty days following the completion of the investment that I’ve made in contracting your company to complete the full hardscape/landscape/pool project for our second new home in Loomis (in past 3 years), I felt compelled to write this letter demonstrating my extreme satisfaction.
We are truly not gypsies, but have taken the path of contributing to our wealth envelope by building homes, living in them for 2 years and then selling for profit. We have lived in 7 different homes over the past 12 years and have worked with MANY contractors and experienced much good and much bad – we have taken pride in developing some best practices relative to bidding/selecting contractors, which I know can sometimes be grueling for all.
As you are aware, nearly three years ago, my family built a home in Terracina (Loomis) and asked 10+ contractors to bid on an all-inclusive landscape/hardscape/pool project. Your company was selected for this project based on your competitive pricing, your comprehensive capabilities, your vision and most importantly the honest/ethical and trust-based approach that you take to everything you do. You didn’t over-commit or tell us what we wanted to hear, you simply worked with us and established a relationship built on trust and honesty, which unfortunately has not been a common experience for our family within all of our contracting experiences.
Terracina was a new community in Loomis and we were one of the first families to move into this development; thus, we truly were tasked with setting the bar within the community relative to the product that we built and the landscape/hardscape/pool vision that we implemented. You partnered closely with us on all aspects of this vision and helped us to craft much more of it than we care to give you credit for, but the end result was amazing and we were very proud of what you and your crew visioned and implemented and all of our neighbors raised their bars because of it.
After 2 years, we sold Terracina and purchased our current home on 4 acres in Loomis and you were one of the first phone calls that we made as a family, as this home had no driveway, no landscaping, no pool and truly no path to greatness. To assure that we were securing the most competitive bidding, we again bid our project out to 5+ contractors – the others were referrals from friends/family. Once again, you were the most competitively priced and invested the most time/effort in creating the RIGHT PLAN in order to meet our expectations. We moved into the home in November and asked you to deliver us yet another dream project in less than 30 days. We all knew this to be a very unrealistic goal, due to weather/other projects you had in play, but you committed to these very lofty timelines/goals and WOW – you delivered on time and under budget one more time for us. As always, you even helped us in managing pieces of our project that you were not being compensated and were not part of your project plan (pond, irrigation ditch water to property, asphalt driveway), and you were always available for coaching and partnering as we struggled with other contractors. Your employees were always here at the crack of dawn and worked until they couldn’t see the shovel in front of them, and they were consistently professional and polite to my nosey family and friends.
Our neighbors, friends, family are still mind-blown that your team was able to complete landscaping/hardscape and our pool projects all within that 30 day envelope.
Your honesty, transparency and commitment to doing what’s right by the customer and the pricing of your product/services in a very competitive manner truly make you stand out way above the crowd (not even a close 2nd that I can think of). I’m extremely selective in making this offer – but PLEASE DO NOT EVER HESITATE to utilize me as a reference on any front. Granite Bay Landscape / California Hardscapes has now outperformed my expectations on two very important/all-inclusive projects for my family – and we couldn’t be happier with what you’ve delivered on all fronts…..
